Missa Brevis in G Major, BWV 236 – J. S. Bach - Soloist

Magnificat – C. P. E. Bach -Duet

Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach was a great composer in his own right. His first major choral work, the Magnificat, shows some of the influence of his brilliant father, J. S. Bach. Yet each had his own unique style. Come and hear J. S. Bach’s rarely performed Missa Brevis in G and compare to another rarely heard piece, the Magnificat by his son, C. P. E. Bach.
